For basic printing functions, the class drivers included with Windows 10 are usually sufficient. More complex devices—such as all-in-one hardware that combines scanning, printing, and faxing functions—often requires more elaborate software. For those devices, it is wise to read the documentation first. Typically, the recommended installation process involves setting up software from a download site before plugging in the hardware itself. After you successfully install a printer, you can find its controls in Settings, under the Printers & Scanners section, as shown in Figure 6-14. One benefit of UWP apps in Windows 10 is a standard Printer dialog box like the one shown in Figure 6-15.
