68 CHAPTER 5 | Connecting to the Internet and cloud services Figure 5-2: This Network Status page, which is new in Windows 10 version 1607, shows you at a glance whether your Internet connection is working properly. If there’s a problem with a network connection, you can often see the difficulty at a glance by looking at the icon in the notification area. A yellow exclamation point over the icon usually indicates a problem with Internet connectivity, whereas a red “X” over the icon means there’s no network connection. When Windows detects that the network connection isn’t working properly, the Network Status page changes slightly, adding a prominent Troubleshoot button under a “Not connected” message, as shown here:
