Ed Bott - Windows 10 Support Secrets

55 CHAPTER 4 | Having fun Figure 4-2: The Groove Music home page shows your recent activity and offers suggested playlists. Use the icons on the left side of the screen to change the view to albums, artists, playlists, and so on. The Groove Music app offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how responsive apps work. When you change the size of the window, the app responds by reconfiguring the elements of the user interface so that they make sense instead of forcing you to use scrollbars to see content that doesn’t fit. Figure 4-3, for example, shows what you see if you choose the Now Playing tab and then shrink the Groove Music app to a small rectangular window. As the window shrinks, you can actually watch interface elements, such as the listing of tracks on the current album, gracefully disappear. Note also how the progress slider and playback controls stack.
