Embrace the cloud Windows 10 was designed with the expectation that you have ready access to the global Internet. One of the key pieces of that architecture is OneDrive, a cloud-based service capable of storing files, photos, music, and settings from every Windows PC on which you sign in with a Microsoft account. The OneDrive synchronization client, included with Windows 10, gives you the option to move your local Documents and Pictures folder into the cloud, making for an extremely effective backup mechanism. The OneDrive Settings dialog box, shown in Figure 1-16, includes these options on a dedicated tab.
