9 CHAPTER 1 | Getting started with Windows 10 Figure 1-8: The simplified user interface of Microsoft Edge includes the options shown here, to add webpage links to the Favorites or a Reading List, both of which you can sync to other Windows 10 devices. One of the most useful features in Edge is Reading View, which you turn on by clicking a button on the address bar. With Reading View on, Edge identifies the main content on the page, strips away clutter such as navigation elements and advertisements, and presents the content in a format that’s typically much easier to read than the original. Figure 1-9 shows an example of the webpage from Figure 1-8 after it’s been converted into Reading View. The larger type and uncluttered layout makes this long article much easier to read.
